Get ready for Magnolia Springs’ beloved Biggest Little 4th of July Parade! Join us as we celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with a hometown tradition full of patriotic spirit, festive floats, music, community pride, and plenty of red, white, and blue.
This year, we’re adding a few extra special touches to our traditional celebration, including the “Paint the Town Red, White & Blue” House Decorating Contest, a special Veterans & Active Duty Military Float, and our “Honor a Hero” Flag Sponsorship along the new sidewalk to recognize those who have served our country. Whether you’re participating in the parade, cheering from beneath the oak trees, or joining us for the Hot Dog Luncheon afterward, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The Town of Magnolia Springs is proud to participate in the statewide celebration of America’s 250th birthday through America 250 Alabama. This initiative commemorates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and encourages communities across Alabama to celebrate our nation’s history, heritage, and future through local events and community engagement.
The Town recently received grant funding through the America 250 Alabama program to help support local celebration efforts surrounding this historic milestone. Funding will assist with community activities and patriotic initiatives planned as part of Magnolia Springs’ 4th of July festivities and other special events honoring America’s 250th birthday.
Help us “Paint the Town Red, White, and Blue” as Magnolia Springs celebrates America’s 250th Birthday with our 4th of July House Decorating Contest! Residents are encouraged to decorate their homes in patriotic spirit for a chance to win in categories including Best Overall, Most Patriotic, Most Creative, Best Tradition, and Best Light Display.
