Boards, Commissions, and Committee Vacancies

Vacancies

Serve the Town You Love!

Board of Adjustment Vacancy

The Town of Magnolia Springs is currently accepting Letters of Interest from residents who wish to serve as a Supernumerary Member of the Board of Adjustment (BOA).

The Board of Adjustment hears requests such as variances, appeals of administrative decisions, and certain zoning matters that come before the Town.

A supernumerary member serves as an alternate to the regular Board of Adjustment members. When a regular member is absent or must recuse themselves from a case, the supernumerary steps in to participate in the meeting, review the case, and vote on the matter. This ensures the board always has enough members present to conduct business fairly and efficiently.

Historic Preservation Commission Vacancies

The Town of Magnolia Springs will have two upcoming vacancies on the Historic Preservation Commission (HPC). The HPC helps preserve and protect the town’s historic buildings, landmarks, and character by reviewing projects within the historic district and advising the Town on historic preservation matters.

Qualifications: Members must be residents of the Town of Magnolia Springs. Appointees should have demonstrated training or experience in history, architecture, architectural history, American studies, cultural geography, cultural anthropology, planning, archaeology, law, or another related historic preservation field, or be residents of a historic district.

📬 How to Apply
Residents interested in serving are invited to submit a Letter of Interest to the Town Clerk.
